WARRING gangs in the West, who signed a peace truce several months ago to end senseless killings and shootings, have declared the truce null and void and Western Division police have been informed through intelligence gathering, there will be bloodshed in the coming weeks.

Three months ago, a member of the Muslim gang from North West Drive in Diego Martin went to senior officers in the Western Division and said he was fed up of the killings, especially of young men from the two warring gangs.

The leader of the Muslim gang also told police he and others had signed a truce with members of the Rasta City gang and assured the groups were working assiduously to end the killings.
