MSC Preziosa to highlight local cruise ship season

THE MSC Preziosa, with a passenger capacity of over 4,000 people, is expected to be the highlight of a busy cruise ship season in Trinidad for the coming months.

In an interview with Newsday, Dahlia Mohammed, promotions officer at the Ministry of Tourism anticipating the arrival of the MSC Preziosa for the first time. “Our largest ship that will be coming this season is the MSC Preziosa with 4,363 passengers. Our next cruise call will be on December 12 (yesterday) and that ship will be making what you call its inaugural sailing,” Mohammed said.

The MSC Preziosa will return to Trinidad on December 26, the Caribbean Princess will visit on December 27 and Serenissima will stop off in Trinidad on December 29. In January four stops will be made in Trinidad by various vessels, followed by five stops in February, five in March and one in April.
