Acting general manager of the Chaguaramas Development Authority (CDA) Deowattee Dilraj-Batoosingh said while she was not aware of the details behind a purported plan to host a sex party on an island off the coast of Chaguaramas starting from Friday, any illegal activities were not welcome in the area.

Speaking with Newsday yesterday, Dilraj-Batoosingh said she was unaware that Chaguaramas was identified as a destination for the event, but the CDA and the police were prepared to investigate.

"If it is we will definitely look into the matter and investigate it with the police service because they are ultimately in charge of policing.

"I heard the social media news about the party, but I didn't know they identified an area in Chaguaramas."

She said any activities not in conformity with the law were prohibited in Chaguaramas.
