$100,000 stolen from airport counter

Piarco police are investigating the theft of close to $100,000 from a Caribbean Airlines counter this afternoon.

Sources said a report was made to police at around 1 pm that a money bag with the cash was collected by a man wearing a G4S security guard's uniform.

A release confirmed the theft and police are investigating it.
