Stabbed Cuban woman out of hospital

THE Cuban woman who was stabbed in her face by her Cuban husband on Saturday is out of hospital.

Inspector Henry Dan of the Western Division Task Force said her injuries were not life threatening.

Police said, around 9.30 am on Saturday, the man went to his wife’s workplace at Al’s Diner in Crystal Stream, Diego Martin. An argument ensued between the two and the man took a knife from the restaurant and stabbed her in the face.

The man tried to run away, but people stopped him and he was pinned to the ground and his hand and feet tied with twine until police arrived. He has been charged.
