President of the TT Unified Teachers Association Lynsley Doodhai today said he has no concerns for students who find themselves engaged in criminal activities, but only for students who are willing to learn, or terrorised by other students.

In a brief interview, Doodhai said a Form Five student attending Tabaquite Secondary School, who was suspended for walking into a classroom and hitting another student in October, has been arrested for the possession of marijuana, and remains on extended suspension.

Doodhai said, “I think the story was featured in a newspaper two weeks ago where (name called) was charged for the possession of marijuana and is out on bail.”

He said in late November police came to the school to execute a warrant but the police eventually arrested the student while he was at his home.
