INFORMATION circulating on social media that a suspect (name called) was key to the police success in this morning's Westmoorings drug bust, is fake news, says Police Commissioner Gary Griffith.

The contents of the message being shared on social media was sent to Griffith, who described the message, which purports to come from someone named "PC Davis," as "fake."
"No one held has co-operated in this operation," Griffith said.

Police, including Griffith, are still at the scene of what has been described as a major drug bust at Regents Gardens. Newsday understands that five people - three men and two women - were arrested. The raid was conducted by the Special Operations Response Team (SORT) based on intelligence received yesterday.
