People, we can do somuch better

THE EDITOR: Trinis are one of the most eloquent and outspoken people in the world today.

Do you hear how we speak when we carry on conversations? Do you read our writings in the press and Facebook? None can compare. We are real critics.

What’s my point? We are complaining about ourselves.

For example, when WASA doesn’t fix a leak or the regional corporation doesn’t fix potholes, who has failed to get the job done? Is it not the people who work in these places? Can’t we see that?

There are areas in which we the people can do much better. Both the managers and the operatives. Just remember, it depends on all of us to get the job done and make a real difference.

I end by extending my heartiest congratulations to all of those employees who do their jobs timely and efficiently. Keep up the good work and let’s hope the others follow your example.
