CHIEF SECRETARY Kelvin Charles on Tuesday extended sympathy on behalf of the Tobago House of Assembly to the Tambrin 92.7 family, on the passing of media stalwart Simon Parkinson.

Parkinson was also a restaurateur but worked as a senior journalist at Radio Tambrin for many years. While he was of British descent, Parkinson had made Tobago his home for over three decades. He was also the son of renowned former photographer of Queen Elizabeth II, deceased Norman Parkinson, who resided in Tobago since 1963. Parkinson was well loved by the Radio Tambrin family and was always willing to share his knowledge. The THA on Tuesday wished “the Tambrin 92.7 family and the Parkinson family, much peace and comfort during their time of loss and bereavement.”
