The four men allegedly attempted to rob Jerrell Arismendez, 27, of Fatima Trace, Laventille, who was hired to transport four men into the Cascade Drive, Bagatelle area around 11.50am.

A fight broke out and Arismendez was shot several times. He died at the scene and his attackers ran off. Williams, Charles, George and Pantin were arrested on the same day, and charged with the offences on the advice of DPP Roger Gaspard SC on Wednesday.

They are expected to reappear on September 26.
