Help us help TT

THE EDITOR: Life Foundation is a charity organisation founded by Nesar Hosein on June 26 this year. This organisation was established to assist those in need and give back to society. This group also focuses on the environment and animals. We at the Life Foundation organisation believe the smallest task can go a long way as the quote states “If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way, Napoleon Hill.”

Life Foundation is a growing organisation, filled with young minds who are determined to make our country not only a better place for today's generation, but a better and safer place for the younger generation of our beautiful twin island of TT.

This organisation recently rendered our assistance to a family of six in Bamboo Settlement. We as well as some sponsors provided this family with the essentials they need to allow them to rebuild. This, being one of our first projects, was a success.

However, we would like to do more environmentally friendly projects such as cleaning our rivers and beaches. We would also like to help the youths of our country who, up to today, cannot get a good education. In that pursuit, Life foundation will be having our first annual book drive. This will enable kids to get school supplies such as books, pencils, pens etc which some families may not be able to afford. The book drive will take place during this month.

As our organisation starts to build and becomes known for our good deeds and impact on people's lives, we would like the citizens of our country to lend their support in any possible way as we believe that if we can help others achieve their dreams, we can achieve ours.

As the saying goes, “Each one of us can make a difference. Together we can make a change.” So if young, old, rich and poor come together, we can make a difference in society. We believe it is time we put religion, gender, wealth and politics aside so we can make TT a safer and better place for our younger generation. However, to be able to obtain our goals we need your support. Remember the smallest task can go a long way.
