Chapman whips ’em at RBC Tobago Junior Tennis

JORDELL CHAPMAN registered a pair of victories yesterday, on the second day of the RBC Bank Tobago Junior Tennis Championships, at the Shaw Park Tennis Courts, Scarborough.

The top-seeded player, in the boys Under-10 age group, swept past Lucas Small 4-0, 4-1 and followed up with a 4-0, 4-2 victory over Brianne Harricharan, both in round-robin contests.

Messiah Permell, the second seed, also had a pair of wins yesterday, as he spanked both Gabriel Denoon 4-1, 4-0 and B’Jorn Hall 4-0, 4-0. A pair of victories was also achieved by Keyondre Duke, who brushed aside Hall 4-0, 4-1 and Denoon 4-1, 4-0.

In other boys Under-10 round-robin matches, Brianne Harricharan defeated Brian Harricharan 4-1, 2-4, 4-1 and Lucas Small overcame Brian Harricharan 1-4, 4-1, 4-2.
