LEADER of Government Business Camille Robinson-Regis slammed Opposition Whip David Lee for having a "selective memory." Commenting on a letter which Lee wrote to the Clerk of the House regarding Friday's sitting of the House of the Representatives, Robinson-Regis said Lee failed to mention the former People's Partnership government brought the House and Senate out during fixed recess in 2014 "to amend the Constitution in fundamental ways."

She said the Speaker determines whether there are urgent and extraordinary reasons to call the House from its recess. Robinson-Regis indicated that Speaker Bridgid Annisette-George has already ruled on this matter. Consequently, Robinson-Regis said an order paper has been issued for this Friday's sitting. "The Government shall be in attendance.
