Teen questioned in pensioner’s death

One teenager is among three male suspects assisting Tobago police with their investigations into the discovery of 65 year old Anthony Noel of Bethel who was found dead at Logwood Park, Glen Road, on Saturday.

Noel was last seen alive on June 17 at the Lambeau harvest celebrations and was later reported missing by relatives.

Based on information received, Scarborough police began a search in area around 6pm on Saturday where the body of Noel was found with his head smashed in.

Three men were apprehended moments later and are assisting police with their investigation. An autopsy is expected to be conducted soon.
