Let Cepep clean again

THE EDITOR: It is unfortunate that Cepep has stopped working in areas it used to clean.

The grass is growing high and mighty with happiness. The rats are glad with joy. The frogs and snakes are wriggling merrily. Bandits have a golden opportunity to flourish in the bushes. Rash people can now throw bottles, tins, cans, glasses and other containers for mosquitoes to breathe freely and happily to the detriment of people.

Why stop Cepep from working when someone was responsible for corruption? Why punish Cepep workers who protected children, homes, the public from becoming sick? The Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation should be given the responsibility to oversee Cepep. The Government should remember that health is wealth and cleanliness is next to godliness.

Bring back Cepep.
