Running in circles

THE EDITOR: The Keith Rowley-led PNM is not ready to face the crucible of governance.

From the very onset the appointment of political neophytes in an already struggling economy is indeed testimony to a lack of deep, disciplined thinking that understands the depth of issues and respect for what others contribute and so never responds with calm assurance, but in the famous “washank” way.

What is particularly hypocritical and disheartening about the present Government is that, when on political platforms, it spews accusations of unscrupulous men and women in the UNC. So to witness this Government’s behaviour is absolutely, unequivocally unacceptable. It is testimony to its true values, morality and capabilities.

In the absence of ingratiated knowledge, the inevitable occurred. With no prejudice to the Government but solely on the measure of results, it seems as though we cut so many corners that we are running in circles.
