Party in jail

THE EDITOR: Those lazy, greedy criminals who roam the streets daily and disrupt our lives, because they know they can get away with it. And even if they are caught and convicted, instead of 50 strokes and 50 years for armed robbery they enjoy themselves in jail because they are provided with all the necessary facilities – music and movies and soon calypso monarch, chutney monarch and band of the year. And the party continues.

And on the outside our priorities are Carnival, Jazz Festival, Soca on the Seas. Trinidadians are fun-loving people. We fiddle while Rome burns.
