Looking for a home

THE EDITOR: For some reason many people see me as being very receptive to media and archival material which are to be disposed. Over the many years LPs, cassettes, open reels with all types of material have been collected.

While at first I was always happy to receive and store them, this gladness has become sadness. In effect the collection has become a weight around my neck, since wherever I live this collection, no, this weight has to accompany me.

Some years ago the Department of Culture approached me to purchase it but found the price too high. This evaluation was done by an independent person. Their solution was to gathering it from YouTube. A great part of the collection was live performances which could not be found anywhere. Talk about small round pegs in much larger round holes.

At the moment it’s rather obvious that two man rat can’t live in the same hole, therefore I have to find a home for my collection and myself by month’s end.

Part of the collection is already in storage.
