UNC will lose alone

THE EDITOR: UNC political leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar told her dwindling band of party sycophants that her party has the strength to win the next general election alone.

The former prime minister wants her supporters to believe that because the PNM is seen by many as the worse government in the country’s history there is a chance of winning the next time around.

Sadly, she must also remind her supporters that history shows that the only way to defeat the PNM in a general election is for there to be unity among the opposition forces.

Until that happens, if the UNC fights alone it will lose alone.
