Neighbours havewater but not me

THE EDITOR: I write this letter with great frustration. As a paying customer of WASA I have been complaining about a problem my household has been having since last May. The problem is that we are not getting any water flowing through our taps. My neighbours have been getting their normal supply but not us.

When I complained WASA sent someone who found that our main connection is corroded. He suggested that it be changed. To this day the pipe has not been changed and obviously the problem continues.

I have made numerous reports to WASA’s call centre and the Regulated Industries Commission, which I must say is trying but the most it can do is lodge a complaint on my behalf.

I am fed up and with the dry season here I do not know how my family and I are going to survive, especially when WASA implements “water restrictions.”

I am begging on my knees for someone in authority to please rectify this problem.
