Carnival Thursday Lime at Santa Rosa

EIGHT RACES are on the cards today as the Arima Race Club stages its Race Day Five of the 2018 season.

However, with the Carnival festivities in high swing, the ARC has decided to hold a ‘Carnival Thursday Lime’, with the intention of attracting the foreigners, as well as the returning nationals from abroad, who are in Trinidad to partake in the ‘Greatest Show on Earth’.

But the race to watch will be Race 7, for three-year-olds and over, going a distance of 1600 metres.

Eight horses are listed to compete and it is a virtual toss-up between Conquest Bespoke, Trini Aviator, Stockyard and Rock In Peace to walk away with the purse valued at $51,000.

Today’s action will get going from 1 pm.
