Take sermon very seriously

THE EDITOR: The Rev Daniel Teelucksingh of the Susamachar Presbyterian Church must be highly praised for his Christmas sermon. He outlined the problems facing our country — gang warfare and a general disenchantment with the political climate that can easily lead to anarchic and disruptive forces. We must take his sermon very seriously.

As a people we must help our police. They are working very hard. Church leaders must rally around them. Only recently we saw where a priest blessed our hard working officers and their dogs.

Let us offer our prayers for our Prime Minister and our Opposition Leader and for unity in addressing the problems.
