Merry Christmas garbage collector

THE EDITOR: Kindly permit me to wish you, your staff and your readers warmest wishes for a Happy Christmas and the very best for 2018.

On another note, I would like to highly commend the contractor and his diligent employees who provide the garbage collection services along the Cunapo Southern Road, especially the area around the Coalmine Junction. Kudos to you guys.

So often one hears on the radio or reads in the newspaper of people complaining of the mounds of smelly garbage piling up in the streets around their homes, and they hardly see a rubbish-collecting vehicle for days, possibly weeks!

So Mr Contractor (so sorry that I do not know your name), and your workers, please take a big bow for the fantastic work you are doing, and we look forward to the continued great job in 2018. On behalf of all of us whose garbage you collect, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a successful New Year, 2018.
