Barataria shooting victim dies

One of two men shot in Barataria last Saturday night has died.

According to police, Collin Henry, 24, from Coconut Drive, Morvant, succumbed to his injuries on Thursday night. On November 25 Henry and his 31-year-old cousin Aaron Warner were filling gas at the NP station near the Maritime roundabout, Barataria, when they were ambushed and shot multiple times by unknown assailants.

The two were taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope in critical condition. Warner is reportedly still nursing his injuries at hospital.

Investigations are continuing.
