e Teck on Hilton renovation drive

The Ministry of Trade and Industry, through Evolving Tecknologies and Enterprise Development Company Limited (e TecK) embarked on a project to re-design and upgrade the pool and pool deck at the Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre.

This project forms part of e TecK’s continued hotel renovation works which also facilitated the refurbishment of guest rooms and suites in 2005. e TecK at present, manages the lease operatorship of the Trinidad Hilton and the Magdalena Grand and Beach Golf Resort, Tobago on behalf of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago.

Both the Hilton pool and pool deck are over 50 years old and require major remedial work and redesign to meet international safety standards. Ongoing work has transformed and organized the 15,250 square feet pool deck space to satisfy the needs of hotel guests. Renovations when concluded will provide clients with access to new washroom facilities and three cabanas.

An audio-system, a refurbished rock wall feature together with garden and landscaped lighting will also be installed. It is expected that the new pool and pool deck will be handed over to Hilton’s Management sometime in December.

e TecK through its upgrade works, continues to support the evolution of the landmark Hilton Trinidad to meet international standards and maintain its reputation as a premium Meeting and Conference Centre.
