This Friday is the final day to drop off relief items for hurricane-ravaged Dominica at the TT Postal Corporation’s (TTPost) corporate post shops.

The announcement comes from the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM), which advised people who still intend to donate, that items must have a minimum shelf life of six months.

You can visit the ODMP’s website, www.odpm.gov.tt/node/965 to find out which items have been requested. Additionally, bulk donations will continue to be facilitated by the Foundation for Enhancement and Enrichment of Life (FEEL), from 9 am to 3 pm until Friday at Warehouse 22, Unit 2208, Fernandes Industrial Centre, Eastern Main Road, Laventille.

The ODPM said, “It must be emphasised that cash donations to support relief operations are still being facilitated through the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) and interested persons can visit: www.cdema.org for more information.”
