A Laventille man was granted $200,000 bail when he appeared before a Port of Spain magistrate last week Monday on four charges of sexual penetration of a 14-year-old girl.

Aaron Andrew Albert, 34, of Success Village, Laventille, appeared before Magistrate Adia Mohammed in the Port of Spain Seventh Magistrates’ Court on October 30.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between April 1 and October 14. Albert is expected to return to court on November 27.

He was granted bail on the condition that he has no communication with the victim, either direct, indirect, or by electronic means.

Albert has also been ordered to not go within 500 metres of the victim. Cpl Yohan McKain of the Child Protection Unit charged Albert on October 27.
