Body found in Lady Hailes Avenue drain

The body of a man was found yesterday morning in a drain in San Fernando. Police were unable to identify the man up to late yesterday.

The body was found at about 10.30 am by a game warden and his son, who told police they were driving when they saw a man lying in a drain at Lady Hailes Avenue.

Police said the man was lying face down in the drain, which was partially filled with water. He was barebacked but wore brown checked pants. Homicide detectives (Region III) are investigating.
