Carib to pour all profits from T20 to hurricane relief

Carib Brewery Limited will be donating 100 percent of the profits from the Cricket Hurricane Relief Charity T20 cricket match scheduled for 7pm on Saturday at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port-of-Spain.

Local Organising Committee member for the Charity T20 match Colin Murray said of Carib’s donation:

“This is a very admirable gesture by Carib Brewery to contribute to the relief effort. Their donation will go a long way in assisting our Caribbean brothers and sisters in the recover effort from the recent spate of hurricanes. I am delighted to see Carib Brewery is leading from the front and hopefully other corporate entities will join the effort. We have assembled two very good teams and we expect a good game of cricket for a worthy cause.”

Miguel Marquez Commercial director at Carib said: “Carib is pleased to be associated with the game. It is another one of our many efforts to assist the Caribbean countries that have been so badly devastated by this hurricane season. We urge everyone to come out and support this game on Saturday 14th October."

The Charity T20 match will feature a star-studded Trinidad and Tobago Red Force team captained by Kieron Pollard taking on a Regional XI skippered by Darren Sammy. Tickets cost $100 and are available at NLCB booths nationwide.
