Still without a meaningful plan

THE EDITOR: Part of the PNM rebelled against late prime minister Patrick Manning, but without itself having a meaningful plan for the nation. It was an ideological putsch. Without that there would have been no PP, and Manning would have been able to mould the legacy intelligently.

Economic hard times came along under the PP and fate gave the government back to the new PNM, still without a meaningful plan. What will happen next is anyone’s guess. But it is still not true to say that corruption cannot be tackled constructively or that it can only be tackled when there is a boom.
