POLICE FIND GUN IN AROUCA

Northern Division Police yesterday seized a pistol and six rounds of ammunition following a search at a house at Bisnath Trace, Arouca.

According to reports, officers led by ASP Mervyn Edwards and Sgt Ishmael Pitt executed the search warrant at the house where the pistol was found and seized at around 4.30 pm yesterday.

The gun will be sent to the Forensic Science Centre for ballistic testing to see if the gun had been used in previous crimes.
