Destra Injures Ankle in Bermuda Bachannal

Soca diva Destra Garcia, known for her on-stage antics injured her ankle after she fell through the stage, during her performance in Bermuda on Wednesday night. According to reports Garcia was in the middle of her act at the Cup Match Summer Splashe when she slipped and fell through the stage. Speaking with reporters, Destra's manager Brian Morris confirmed that she injured her ankle and said that she was in need of surgery. Sources within the band revealed that Garcia was expected to perform in Canada later this week but intends to return Trinidad for treatment.
