Combine Forces whip Tamana Utd

COMBINE FORCES whipped Tamana United by 23 runs recently in the Womens Division of the BGTT/councillor Roger Celestine-sponsored Tyro Sports Club Day/Night Windball Cricket League.

Combine Forces were reliant on 38 runs from Tricia Marquis and 22 from Stechelle Jordan as they amassed 90 runs for three wickets.

In response, Tamana were only able to muster 67/5 with Sylvia Bolah hitting 19, Lucy Bolah notching 13 and Stacy Bolah 11 not out.

Also on the day, Law Breakers blanked United Progressors B by six wickets.

United Progressors B tallied 70/7 with an unbeaten 14 from Willis Mahadeo and 12 from Isaac Kennedy.

But Ronald Griffith made an unbeaten 25 as Law Breakers reached 71/4. Kiran Bruce claimed 3/17 for Progressors B.

TYRO 78/8 - Keith Jeffrey 14, Michael Bayne 10; Bertram Percival 3/14 vs REBELS 83/2 - Derek Woods 39. Rebels won by eight wickets.



June 11:

Men Division -

FIRE SERVICE 85/5 - Crayson Balkaran 27, Giovanni Sylvester 17, Jeromy Carter 15 vs JAGGAN UNITED 88/1 - Bertram James 36 not out, Jerome Duberry 25. Jaggan United won by nine wickets.

PLAYMAKERS 83/5 - Brandon Barath 20; Ramchard Ramcharan 4/12 vs BLOOD BROTHERS 83/7 - Narindra Taylor 27, Shawn Joseph 19, Dwayne Jones 13; Ryan Bissoon 2/14. Super Over - BLOOD BROTHERS 19 vs PLAYMAKERS 8. Blood Brothers won by 11 runs.



June 12:

Women Division -

COMBINE FORCES 80/6 - Falina Jack 18, Gillian Mason 10 vs BALL PLAYERS 68/9 - Natasha Trotman 2/16. Combine Forces won by 12 runs.
