Playmakers win twice at Tyro Windball

PLAYMAKERS won twice on Thursday in the Tyro Sports Club Day/Night Windball Cricket League, at the Bourg Mulatresse Recreation Ground, Santa Cruz.

Firstly, Playmakers disposed of United Progressors A by six wickets.

Progressors were bowled out for 67 with Keron Seenath claiming three wickets for four runs, while Kemal Mohammed and Bernard Sammy made 11 runs apiece. Trevor Mohammed was unbeaten on 28 and Alvin Charles on 19 as Playmakers replied with 73 runs for four wickets in 9.1 overs. And Playmakers carried the momentum to their next game when they trounced More Fire by 45 runs.

Playmakers posted 114/6 with Akeem Alvarez hitting 33 and Charles an unbeaten 28.

In response, More Fire were dismissed for 69 with Ryan Bissoon taking 3/13, while Shawn Gonzales scored 17.

JAGGAN UNITED 95/7 - Hayden Chandree 26 vs LA FAMILIA DE CRICKET 53 - Michael Bayne 2/3, Hayden Chandree 2/12. Jaggan United won by 42 runs.



April 29 -

PETIT BOURG PROGRESSORS 104/9 - Rocky Jacobs 35 vs ONE LOVE 84/7 - Tomon Raphael 18, Lindon John 16; Kevin Permaul 2/2. Petit Bourg won by 20 runs.

BLOOD BROTHERS 91/6 - Nicolas Datardeen 19; Wendell Samuel 2/17 vs UNITED PROGRESSORS A 93/3 - Ryan Ramasray 44 not out, Kemal Matthews 10 not out; Nicholas Datardeen 2/20. United Progressors A won by seven wickets.

SUNRISE YOUTHS 143/9 - Richard Ali 27, Kris Samlal 26, Marlon Morris 24; Aristole Maynard 3/24 vs MORE FIRE 41 - Marlon Gonzales 10; Shawn Mangra 3/6, Safraaz Ali 2/4. Sunrise Youths won by 102 runs.

LAW BREAKERS 127 - Sunil Boochan 22, Riaf Ali 16; David Niles 2/11 vs POLICE 103/9 - Lorenzo Lezama 39 not out; Aneesh Sookoo 2/14, Ryan Griffith 2/16. Lawbreakers won by 24 runs.



May 1 -

FIRE 59 - Duane Phillip 10; Ryan Mykoo 2/12, Robert John 2/14 vs OVERCOMERS 60/4 - Gordon Quash 12. Overcomers won by six wickets.
