Stampfli stays perfect at ‘Nationals’
Wednesday, July 4 2012 Top seed, Breana Stampfli, hammered Ma-Ling Goodridge in straight sets to book her passage into the next round of the Women’s Singles as action continued in the National Open Championship late Monday evening at the Eddie Taylor Public Courts, King George V Park, St Clair. Stamplfi, the overwhelming favourite for the crown, had no trouble against Goodridge who conceded the match 6-0, 6-0. Trevine Sellier also looks in good touch, taking care of Charmaine Dookie similarly 6-0, 6-0. Kezia Koroma defeated Cheyenne Chin- Choy comfortably as well, winning the opening set 6-1 and repeating the effort in the second set.
