A YOUNG woman, who is a mother of nine and who is pregnant with twins, yesterday became the fourth woman this week to be jailed for a criminal offence committed against their own children. The woman, Kezi Doughty, will give birth to her tenth and eleventh child, while incarcerated. Her due date is in September.

A 44-YEAR-OLD La Brea man who pointed a gun at an Indonesian-born businessman during a robbery attempt was shot dead by his intended victim at a car park in Port-of-Spain yesterday morning.

TWO LAVENTILLE brothers were arrested on Wednesday night in connection with the murder of Defence Force soldier Nigel Sinaswee, 40. The brothers were taken to the Belmont Police Station where they were interviewed by both police and officials from the Defence Force’s Intelligence Unit.
