Sunday, September 5 2010

DETECTIVES OF the Tunapuna Criminal Investigations Department (CID) after extensive investigations executed a warrant at a house in Tunapuna, on Friday, where they recovered over $50,000 in computers and computer accessories, electronic items and tools which were stolen from a business place in Macoya over last Independence Day weekend.

According to a police report, at about 11.30 am Cpl Gangasingh and PC Harripersad acted upon information received and went to the house where they found the items.

Two men, ages 16 and 26 were subsequently arrested.

They are expected to be charged with the offence and appear before a Tunapuna magistrate tomorrow (Monday).
