The annual tourism park, hosted by the Tourism Development Company Limited at the Centre of Excellence, Macoya, opens this morning from 9 am.

Known as the TDC Tour and Explore, the park will be open to the public until August 19 from 9 am to 6 pm daily. It has its theme this year, “Adventure is Calling – A journey of everything Trinidad and Tobago.”

Guests are invited to explore and enjoy the paradise and adventure land that is Trinidad and Tobago. Different sites, animals and elements of local culture are to be spread throughout the site displaying all that is to be discovered on the islands.

Featured locations include the Hanuman Temple, Caroni Swamp, Argyle Waterfall, Heights of Aripo featuring Santa Rosa First Peoples Community, and a cocoa house.

There will also be a children’s area with face painting, cotton candy, popcorn and snow cone stations. The small play area features small slides and park games for all ages; while the large play area features a monitored climbing wall, bouncy castles and other attractions.

Some of the exhibitors include the Ministry of Tourism, the Tourism Development Company, Tobago House of Assembly, Wildlife Forestry Division, National Carnival Bands Association, Trinbago Unified Calypsonians’ Organisation, Emancipation Support Committee, and the Environmental Management Authority.
