Citi Trinidad celebrates anniversary with art exhibition
Monday, June 25 2012 In commemoration of Citibank’s 200th anniversary, Citi Trinidad and Tobago launched an art exhibition last Wednesday which features a series of original paintings produced by members of the Creative and Festival Arts Department at the University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus. Twelve individual pieces were on display at Citi Trinidad and Tobago’s Queen’s Park East, Port- of-Spain head office at the event. Each piece represents a different attribute but ten of these pieces will come together to form a mural which will be mounted at the head office after the exhibition ends. The mural represents the journey from past to the future in an abstract style which incorporates distinct local features and colour to tell the tale of progress. The two individual panels express ideas related to the mural.
