TWENTY-SIX persons were arrested during Jouvert celebrations in Sangre Grande yesterday for several offences including possession of weapons and disorderly behaviour.

Police were on patrol monitoring the activities when the arrests were made. The offenders were taken to the Sangre Grande Police Station where they were denied bail.

The arrests were made by Sergeant Gabriel Joseph, Acting Corporal Nicholas Vialva, detectives Allan Khan, Randy Castillo and other officers.
