AN ARGUMENT outside his home ended in tragedy for 23-year-old Keron Reid on Sunday when he was stabbed to death with a broken bottle.

Police reported that at about 9 pm, Reid of Quarry Drive, Champs Fleurs was standing on the roadway a few metres from his home in the company of other young men from the area when Reid got into an altercation with one of the men in the group.

It was alleged that the man broke a bottle and stabbed Reid several times about his face, head and abdomen. Reid was rushed to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

A suspect has since been detained. Cpl Haynes of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations is continuing enquiries.
