ALTHOUGH Sanctification by mas veteran Brian Mac Farlane was yesterday adjudged the Carnival Large Band of the Year, Trini Revellers (which placed second) ruled the scene in Carnival celebrations in Downtown Port-of-Spain.

This according to the official results issued yesterday by the Downtown Carnival Committee of its major competitions in the 2012 Carnival celebrations. In its Carnival Tuesday band of the day competition, Trini Revellers’ portrayal The Golden Years beat Mac Farlane’s Sanctification: In Search of... into second place. Placing third was Legacy’s Flight.
