McDonald’s presents new Spicy McBites

Thursday, September 13 2012

MCDONALD’s Trinidad and Tobago announces the arrival of the Spicy Chicken McBites. These tender pieces of chicken breast are breaded with spices and seasoning to give them a spicy flavour.

The Spicy Chicken McBites are available in three sizes. The Snack size is three ounces, an excellent option to enjoy on its own, while the regular size is five ounces and the shareable is ten ounces, ideal to enjoy by itself or in a combo with a beverage and McFries or side salad.

These can be combined with different sauces in order to obtain a unique flavour. For a hot flavour, customers can combine them with Hot Mustard; to accentuate the flavour they can try the Tangy Buffalo and for a sweeter flavour, they can select the sweet and sour. This product will be available for a limited time at McDonald’s restaurants in Trinidad and Tobago.

Arcos Dorados Trinidad and Tobago Marketing Coordinator Sue-Ann Solomon explains the addition of the product to the local menu. “Spicy Chicken McBites are a new, flavourful chicken treat that matches the festive taste buds of TT. McDonald’s is pleased to bring even more dining options to our clients,” Solomon said.

McDonald’s offers delicious alternatives for its customers. As part of its menu variety, the quick service restaurant offers hamburgers, sandwiches and salads. The restaurant also offers a variety of cold and hot beverages and delicious desserts.

With nutrition as one of its top priorities and keeping its health-conscious customers in mind, McDonald’s offers an array of salads, fruit yogurt and other healthy items.

Its new, lower calorie Happy Meal for children contains a fruit and a smaller portion of fries, has reduced salt in the buns, the McNuggets and the cheese in the burgers and also reduced sugar in the fruit juice. The company is committed to serving nutritionally balanced meals prepared from the freshest ingredients and handled according to the highest international standards of quality and safety.

For more information about this and other products, visit McDonald’s at The Falls at West Mall, Grand Bazaar or Cipriani Boulevard.
