THE EDITOR: Are serious crimes allowed to escalate in this country because of the high extortionate charges for the service of some lawyers, which make them overnight millionaires?

Moreover, why is there a shortage of public funds in the treasury? The police are apparently now on the bandwagon of the shortage of public finance. These could be all signs of a decaying nation.
