Nice guy Trump

THE EDITOR: If anyone had doubts that US President Donald Trump was a nice guy, then those doubts have been erased.

He recently stated that any country which puts out a travel warning about the US can expect retaliations.

The US government, over the years, has been quick to warn its citizens about travelling to various countries.

However, when the shoe is on the other foot, as seen recently when several countries, including Canada, Uruguay and New Zealand, posted travel warnings about the US, Trump exploded.

He said “we are a very reciprocal nation with me as the head. When somebody does something negative to us in terms of a country, we do it to them.”

This is a classic case of “do so eh like so” or maybe “do as I say but not as I do.”

In other words, in this global sphere, only the lives of US citizens matter.

All of this is exacerbated by Trump giving the thumbs up sign and smiling in a photo-op with his wife, who was holding a orphaned baby, next to a local US terrorist in El Paso, Texas.
