Pres San Fernando win Flow T10 title

PRESENTATION College, San Fernando won its third title this season, adding the Flow Secondary Schools Cricket League T10 title to the trophy cabinet on Thursday.

Playing against Carapichaima East Secondary in the final at the Brian Lara Academy in Tarouba, Presentation limited Carapichaima to 64/4 in ten overs. Terrel Leacock stroked an unbeaten 33 to lead his team. Danny Ramjitsingh was the best bowler for Presentation with two wickets.

In reply, Presentation raced to 65/1 in seven overs with Sanjay Jawahir hitting 26 not out and Vanir Maharaj chipping in with 15 not out to steer Presentation to the crown.

In the semifinals earlier on Thursday, Presentation progressed comfortably with a ten-wicket win over Manzanilla Secondary. After Manzanilla posted 63/5 in ten overs, Presentation got to 64 without loss in 5.2 overs. In the other semifinal, El Dorado East scored a competitive 80/3 in ten overs, but Carapichaima made light work of the total, scoring 81/4 in eight overs to prevail by six wickets.

The T10 title for Presentation comes after the school won the championship division south 50-over competition and championship 50-over titles earlier this year. The championship division south 50-over title earned the school promotion to the premiership 50-over competition next year.
