Guest house workers robbed

Malabar police are on the hunt for two men who robbed receptionists of a guest house early yesterday.

Police said one of the receptionists went to a room at around 4.50 am to tell the occupants their time was up when she was confronted by a gunman.

She was taken to the front desk where the man and another bandit robbed then of $8350, a gold chain and cell phones.

She along with another receptionist who was at the front desk, were tied up with bed sheets while the bandits ran away.

The women freed themselves and called the police.
