Arima accountant dies in attempted robbery

AN Arima accountant is dead after bandits tried to rob him at his home. Kevin Horsford, said to be in his 40’s was at his two-storey home on Layne Street, Arima Old Road, when at about 1 pm, gunmen entered and announced a hold-up.

Horsford tried to run, but was shot at. He flung himself from a window of his house, while the men fled the scene.

Residents found Horsford bleeding from multiple injuries. He was taken to the Arima Health Facility but was declared dead on arrival.
