Patience Hill wins Community Tourism Awareness Quiz

Students of the Patience Hill Primary brought glory to their school as the grabbed the Primary School Community Tourism Awareness Quiz from an initial field of 12 schools across the island. In the final round of the competition held at Lowlands Multipurpose Centre on Tuesday, Patience Hill competed against Glamorgan SDA Primary, Black Rock Government Primary and Scarborough SDA Primary, these schools placing second, third and fourth, respectively.

The quiz was held as part of a series of events being hosted by the Division of Tourism to celebrate Caribbean Tourism Month this November. The quiz was designed to educate and sensitise young people on the importance of tourism to Tobago’s economy, as well as impress upon them their role in the development of the industry
