Something new needed

THE EDITOR: During the last election the PNM promised to tackle the crime situation and heaped criticism on the Kamla Persad-Bissessar administration. To cut a long story short, the PNM won the election and the crime situation worsened.

At this juncture National Security Minister Edmund Dillon and Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley must realise that whatever they are doing is just not working. The police continue to do the same things and expect a positive results which, as we all know, are failing.

It is high time we start to do things differently or the crime situation will only get worse.

How about a total lockdown and curfew in certain areas and no bail for a third offence and a gun court? Try something new.
